We study how viruses establish infection in the respiratory tract, how immune responses are mounted, and how the lung returns to homeostasis. Our goal is to develop new interventions to limit viral and inflammatory lung diseases.

We are always looking for motivated and curious people to join our group. Prospective graduate students should apply for admission to the Duke Graduate School through one of the following programs:
- Molecular Genetics and Microbiology Graduate Training Program
- Immunology Graduate Training Program
- Program in Cell and Molecular Biology
- University Program in Genetics and Genomics
Our lab can accept rotation students admitted through any of the programs above. Open postdoctoral fellow and research technician positions will be posted at Duke Careers.
